(Pakdestiny.com) Imran Khan’s sister, Dr Uzma Khan has shown a ‘big gesture’ and formally apologised to the prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz, saying she was misled by Bilawal’s close aide personnel.
In a letter addressed to Maryam Nawaz, Dr Uzma said the accusation was the result of misinformation as she was told at the time the protocol vehicle belonged to the premier’s daughter.
“The man who told her it was Maryam’s protocol was Asim Gujjar, who was not known to her at the time of the incident.”
“The fact that he had the audacity to take the name of PM’s daughter, I could not imagine that he would be lying. Therefore please accept my apologies as I took the word of Mr. Gujjar as the truth in my extreme state of trauma,” read the letter undersigned by Dr Uzma Khan.
Uzma on Friday claimed that her family was harassed by Maryam Nawaz’s protocol when they were on their way to Friday prayers in the Gulberg-III area of Lahore. In fact the protocol belonged to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Yaqoob, who arrived at his house to condole the death of Asim Gujjar’s mother.

She got trolled. He told her that’s who it was to try to get a rise out of her, and he succeeded.
dr uzma has the courage to admit her mistake. thumbs up to her. and equally thumbs up for maryam nawaz who had not over reacted and gracefully handled this issue. now bilawal should show some courage.
Good gesture shown by Dr.Uzma , at least she didn’t stand on her wrong stance, and apologized as well, it’s not easy to show character like this when the one is your political opponent.
