Lahore, March 21 (Pakdestiny.com) Express, Dunya and C42 media groups backed Firdous Ashiq Awan is going to lose her position to Geo backed Qamar Zaman Kaira.
PM Gilani on the advice of President Zardari is all set to reshuffle the cabinet and it is believed besides Kaira, Nazar Gondal and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will make their return.
To break the hagemony of Gang group’s Shakilur Rehman, Dunay’s owner Amer Mehmood, Express’ Sultan Lakhani and C42’s Mohsin Naqvi have joined hand. Spearheaded by President Zardari’s media wizard Mohsin Naqvi had lobbied to bring in Ms Awan in the place of Kaira.
However, as the Gilani government has not much time to go into general elections Awan critics have convinced Zardari to do away with her as she could not meet the expectations of the leadership. This time Mehmood, Lakhani and Naqvi do not seem to be as interested in backing her as they were earlier. Perhaps she could not come up to their expectations.
Kaira who was heart-broken to losing his ministry to her is now the obvious choice of PPP leadership. Jang group backs him in the face of its opponent, media groups’ support to Ms Awan.
Let’s see if Kaira manages to bring Zardari and Shakil a little closer.

Honest truth is that Ms. Awan has grossly failed to defend and project PP government. Kaira was more active and able person to handle media job instead of Ms. Awan. It is often reported in newspapers about her personal projection instead of government projections. PM Gilani had decided to replace her when she staged a drama in the cabinet meeting and started crying with tears that took the PM and other cabinet members in surprise and PM was embarrassed and had to change his mind. It is said that she deliberately set this drama. Also she came across an accident by leg twisting and it was reported in the press that she had an accident. Our media at this time is pretty over active and if some one think that he/she can hide anything from hyper media is simply living in fools paradise. Anyways some people think it is too late to replace her now. If PM wants to please some one now that is something else.
