Geo/Jang media group owner Mir Shakilur Rehman’s “bashing-Imran” policy today cost his reporters dearly in the rally of the Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf.
The alleged PTI workers threw bottles at Geo News’ team in Lahore including Sana Merza and Ameen Hafeez while they were allegedly ‘misreporting’ the PTI Lahore shutdown protest.
Sana Merza started crying with tears as she was harassed by a bunch of boys. She said: “I will never cover PTI rallies in the future.”
In fact it is the policy of MSR that put the lives of his employees in danger. “To please his business partners in PML-N, MSR has unleashed his media teams on Imran which has infuriated Khan’s workers. The brunt is facing the Geo journalists,” a PTI leader said.
