Islamabad Sept 5 News Desk (www.pakdestiny.com) Geo TV anchor Mathira’s nude photo shoot has left the Jang group management in two minds – send her packing or cash in on the controversy.
Mathira, doing a late night show ‘Baji Online’ with Geo TV, will be second of Geo anchor after Veena Malik who preferred nudity a quick shot to fame.
Appearance of her nude photos on the Web has caused uproar in the Geo as some demanding immediate sacking of her.
Mathira kicked off her career with a Yoga show which was much criticised for showing her ‘skin’.
With no prior show hosting experience Mathira manages to create a massive midnight viewership because of her unique way of talk and her trademark controversial dressing.
Because of her strange but very interesting accent a lot of question were raised about her origin, nationality and schooling.
“My father is from South Africa and my mother is a Pakistani. I was born on Feb 25, 1992, in Harare, Zimbabwe and did my O and A levels from there.” Mathira said in an interview.
When asked about working in Bollywood she said: “Why not? If you get a chance to prove your worth, you should go for it. Why do people watch Preity Zinta’s films? Because she’s in them. They love her. Not only that, I think Indian actors should come to Pakistan and partake in our plays and films.”
So let’s see Geo group believes in sab dikha kar Geo.
