Is Gullu Butt’s sentence is part of “government-Qadri” deal?

Lahore (Pak Destiny) Is Gullu Butt’s sentence is part of “govt-Qadri” deal?
An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) today sentenced Gullu Butt — the infamous car-smashing man – for vandalising property on June 17 in Model Town June — to 11 years in prison.
The court also enforced a fine of Rs100,000 on Butt.
Butt’s counsel said they will appeal the decision in the Lahore High Court (LHC), adding that his client did not commit an offence calling for such severe punishment.
Butt has apologised to the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri over his actions and later retracted his statements during a hearing in the court, claiming that he had never smashed any vehicles and that the police was lying about his involvement.
Some political circles are of the view that dropping the cases against Dr Tahirul Qadri and Gullu’s sentence was also part of his deal with the government. Qadri has reportedly taken Rs3 billion from the government to end his sit-in. Qadri denies this. – Pak Destiny
