(Pak Destiny) So far former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s Lahore homecoming rally has failed to make its impact… and the Pakistan electronic media’s footage is witnesses to it.

Left the Punjab House in Islamabad today noon on G T Road for Lahore Nawaz reached Rawalpindi and covered some 40 minute distance in eight hours. Nawaz will address the rally in Rawalpindi later tonight. “Today’s show was not on the expectation of Nawaz and PML-N… we thought that today huge public will take to the roads but that was not the case. We hope in coming days there is a build up and more people join the Nawaz show,” Senior journalist Rabia Hasan told Pak Destiny.

“Today’s show was not on the expectation of Nawaz and PML-N… we thought that today huge public will take to the roads but that was not the case.

Ms Hasan is covering the Nawaz show further said the whole federal and provincial governments’ resources are being seen in it. Nawaz interestingly appeared ‘fearful’ reluctant to leave his bulletproof car and container. His party workers asking him why he is not coming out and address them. “Nawaz should shun his fear of coming out of this bullet proof car/container.”
Police officials have estimated 8,000 to 9,000 people in the rally in the first day.- Pak Destiny
