Nisar indirectly accuses Dunya, Express media groups’ owners of receiving Rs4 billion from Zardari

Islamabad, Aug 29 (www.pakdestiny.com) PML-N’s Chaudhry Nisar’s has indirectly accused Amir Mahmood of Dunya TV, Sultan Lakhani of Express media group and anchors Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi and Kashif Abbasi Muhammad Malick and some columnists, of receiving Rs4 billion from President Zardari.
Nisar has alleged that some TV channels owners and anchors have been bribed (Rs4 billion) by Zardari ahead of 2013 elections to protect his party’s interest.
Though he did not mention the names but indirectly hinted at Dunay and Express groups owners, anchors like Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi, Kashif Abbasi and Muhammad Malick for their apparent tilt to PPP. Nisar also hinted at columnists like Hasan Nisar, Nazir Naji and Haroon Rashid as all trio are anti-PMLN.
For conducting Zardari’s interview, the PMLN leaders had already alleged that Hamid Mir ‘stayed in the presidency’.
Kashif and Malick had provided PPP Faisal Abidi their platform to hit CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry hard. Sethi is also considered anti-Sharifs.
Mir has already filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking its probe into the money journalists received from property tycoon Malik Riaz.
Will Mir and company take Nisar to court for his startling revelation? Only time will tell. (www.padestiny.com)
