Since assuming her role as the first lady of KPK, Reham Khan has been bent on changing the image of the province through the medium of film.
Khan is said to have two films lined up in production, one of which is Jaanan.
Jaanan’s lead star, the UK-based actress Armeena Rana Khan, spoke to Asian Image about her role in the film.

Rana Khan, who’s become a familiar face for TV audiences through her roles in TV dramas Ishq Parast and Karb, will also be seen in Yalghaar and Bin Roye, but says that Jaanan will be a first for local cinema.
“We are currently in pre-production and although I can’t reveal too (many details), I can reveal that it will showcase Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and its people in a positive light.”
Khan herself has shared that Jaanan will be a romantic comedy about a Pakhtun family.

Imran Kazmi joins Reham Khan in producing the film, which has been written by Osman Khalid Butt.
