(Pak Destiny) Poor Capt (R) Muhammad Safdar could not get a chance during the last 40 days to run the campaign of his mother-in-law Begum Kulsoom in NA-120 along with his wife Maryam Nawaz.
Maryam put a bar on him even on his coming to Model Town ex-CM camp office where she held countless meeting the PML-N leaders and workers during the last 40 days.
“Maryam had standing instructions for Safdar dare not to visit Model Town residence when she is in meeting with the party men. She also stopped him from joining her in her rallies in the constituency,” an official said, questioning as how much insult and ignominy Safdar will face more? Safdar was ordered to only hold separate meetings with the PML-N workers in NA-120.
Yesterday too Maryam and Safdar held separate meetings of party workers’ at Awan-i-Iqbal and Chauburji, respectively. Safdar was even absent from the gathering of the PML-N Youth Wing, addressed by Maryam at Awan-i-Iqbal, of which he is the president…so pathetic. He is the president of the youth wing and was not invited to the youth wing event presided over by Maryam… how much more ignominy he will face at the hands of Maryam.
Yesterday too Maryam and Safdar held separate meetings of party workers’ at Awan-i-Iqbal and Chauburji, respectively.
During the by-poll campaign, senators Pervaiz Rashid and Asif Karmani, federal ministers Pervaiz Malik, Talal Chaudhry, Daniyal Aziz, Marrium Aurenzeb, provincial ministers Bilal Yasin, Khwaja Imran Nazir, Zaeem Qadri and some MPAs flanked Maryam, besides attending the meetings held in Model Town. On the contrary, no significant PML-N leader accompanied Mr Safdar during his month-long canvassing in NA-120.
Poor Safdar is running door to door for votes for his mother-in-law but his wife did not allow him to come along with her for the campaign…it is shameful and no man with little ego could bear it. Election in 120-N will be held on this Sunday. There is a tie between Kulsoom nd PTI’s Ddr Yasmin Rashid.
