Islamabad (Pak Destiny) So-called senior journalist Mujeebur Rehman Shami has finally managed to get ‘pardon’ from the establishment.
After he demanded resignation from outgoing ISI chief Lt Gen Zahirul Islam, Dunya TV owner Mian Amer Mahmood had fired him.
He then found refuge at anti-ISI Jang/Geo media group. However, some “common friends” secured pardon for Shami from the ISI. They conveyed to the establishment guys that it was just a matter of ‘slip of tongue’ by him. “Please forgive him for his inadvertent mistake,” they requested them on his behalf.
Now Amer Mahmood welcomed him back and allowed him to do his program. – Pak Destiny
