(Pakdestiny.com ) Why outgoing PTV Managing Director Muhammad Malick is ‘fired’?
His two years contract couldn’t be renewed despite Pervaiz Rashid’s best efforts.
Prime reasons are believed to be three. First, the fiasco in coverage of Nawaz meeting with Saudi king in which PTV ran the picture of Hussain Nawaz who was not part of the delegation aimed at easing tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Second, Malik tried to manuver things through his group he created in the PTV in two years to unsettle Qasmi.
Third, Qasimi’s son Yasir Peerzada didn’t like Malick and he had told his father to rid him of at first instance.
Poor Malick is now again sending his CV to the ‘Sethes’ of private media.
Let’s see whether Malick gets place in Dunya or Shakeelur Rehman takes him on board. Pak Destiny
