Islamabad (Pakdestiny) Two known match-fixers of their time and convicted of Justice Malik Qayyum’s report – Moin Khan and Waqar Younis – have reportedly sold several players of the cricket team to bookies, thanks to Namaj Sethi who brought them as chief selector and coach, respectively.
Both Waqar and Moin successfully created a group of their own that includes Nasir Jamshad, Umer Akmal, Ahmed Shahzad, Wahab Riaz and then reportedly made their deals with bookies.
“Send both Moin and Younus back if Pakistan team has to perform well,” a former cricketer told Pak Destiny.
He said an independent judicial commission should be held to investigate former and current PCB chairmen Najam Sethi and Shaheryar Khan for appointing tainted former players – Moin and Waqar – on top positions in PCB. They are responsible for Pak team debacle.
