Will someone dares to ask Erdogan about human violations and curbs on freedom of speech in Turkey on his visit of Pakistan?

(Pak Destiny)  While the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leadership has announced boycotting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s address to a joint session of parliament because of the presence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but nobody is talking about violation of freedom curbs Erdogan placed in his country.

Erdogan banned hundreds of publications, radio and TV channels, sacked more than 100,000 employees of education, health and judiciary to settle scores with those suspected of being involved in military coup in last July.

Thousands of people are sent behind the bar as jails choked. Thousands of people have been rendered jobless in Turkey at the moment but this man is enjoying the dictatorial powers and nobody seems to question him here. Although he is facing immense criticism in his country but here is being treated as hero.

He is not only being welcomed in Pakistan and given the privilege to address the joint session of the parliament. Will here is someone who could dare to ask him about the human violations and curbs on freedom of speech in Turkey… perhaps here is no one.

Tthe PTI should better have boycotted Erdogan’s speech on this …  — Pak Destiny
