Islamabad, Dec 11 (Pak Destiny) Finally former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry faced humiliation at the hands of electronic media on the last day of his retirement. How ironic it is.
Iftikhar’s nexus with Geo group today came to limelight after the Supreme Court gave exclusive rights to the group for CJ reference at the SC building.
All TV channels joined hands against the deal and started Iftikhar-bashing and openly talked about his nexus with Jang group.
According to Aitzaz Ahsan Geo group dedicated millions of rupees air time for projection of Iftikhar during the last two days. Besides, a number of “planted news stories” appeared in his favour in Jang and the News.
How ironic it is. Iftikhar even can’t take suo motu to stop the TV channels talking against him. – Pak Destiny
