CIA and ISI should quiz PU VC Mujahid Kamran for his ‘startling disclosure’ about Osama Bin Laden

Islamabad, The CIA and ISI must quiz this guy – Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran – for his latest claim that the Pakistan’s intelligence agencies had handed over Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden’s body to the United States in 2006.
Whether Mujahid buying a popular conspiracy theory or doing so to get some attention from the ‘quarters concerned’ only he can tell.
Some faculty members of the Punjab University are wondering as how come such a person could be a head of an educational institution where over 32,000 students are pursuing their higher education goals.
Kamran said the Abbotabad raid on May 1 last year, in which the US claimed to have killed Bin Laden, was “staged to defame Pakistan.” “Is an academician like him is toeing the line of someone to please someone? Does he have any proof in this regard? If not then he should be better join some Jihadi outfit against the US instead of polluting the innocent minds studying at the PU,” a faculty member comments while talking to Pak Destiny.
Mujahid Kamran a couple of years ago was ‘humiliated’ at the hands of the US immigration security in the US. He then had announced he would never visit America in his life “but his children are not following his father’s advice in this regard”.
Speaking at seminar titled 9/11 and World War III organised by the PU Academic Staff Association on Tuesday Mujahid said: “The 9/11 attack on the World Trade Centre and Pentagon was orchestrated by influential families in the US to occupy the world. The US carried out the attack to push the country to war. It had been proven that the US had lied about Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction to start a war.”
Its time for both CIA and ISI to quiz the vice-chancellor of the largest general university of Pakistan for his claim, as if it is true, he has a good chance to head any spy agency of the world. Kamran’s reappointment for another four years also remained controversial as he reportedly got the slot after greasing the palm of a PML-N senator. (www.pakdestiny.com)
