Islamabad (Pak Destiny) In spite of government’s ban, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken some 11 journalists along with him to China.
All the journalists are none else but known in the community ‘PML-N supporters’. The government surprisingly defied its own ban it imposed soon after coming to power in last year that no journalist will be included in the prime minister or ministers’ entourage on their visits abroad.
Earlier, PM Sharif avoided taking journalists along on his foreign tours but this time he seems to have pleased those journalists who stood by him during the crisis arisen of Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri’s sit-ins in Islamabad.
Those who accompany Sharif to China include The Nation Editor Saleem Bokhari, Daily Dunya Editor Salman Ghani, Express TV anchor Javed Chaudhry, PTV Managing Director Muhammad Maalik, Geo TV reporter Asim Naseer and PTV’s Sidra Naseer. – Pak Destiny
