Islamabad, May 12 (www.pakdestiny.com) The establishment has ‘gifted’ some 30 national assembly seats of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI)and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) from Punjab to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) to give it a simple majority to form the government in the centre.
According to sources, in a ‘last minute deal’ with the PML-N, the establishment ensured that the Sharifs get at least 30 seats of PMLQ and PTI for the purpose.
“The seats of Imran Khan and Hamid Khan in Lahore were gifted to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Saad Rafiq while the Q league’s Chaudhry Wajahat Husain’s one and nine seats of Kasur, Okara and Sheikhupura, Khanewal and Pakpattan were gifted to the PML-N,” a source said.
Similarly, the PTI’s 10 or so possible seats from across the province of Punjab were gifted to the N League.
“Jharlu can not be ruled out in our case,” PTI leader Omar Cheema told Geo TV today. He said the PTI would come out with evidence.
Like 1997, the Sharifs should be thankful to the establishment for its gift. – Pak Destiny
