Islamabad (Pak Destiny) The Pakistan Awami Tahreek chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has reportedly received Rs3 billion from the PML-N government to end his sit-in (dharna) in Islamabad.

Official sources told Pak Destiny that the Sharif brothers engaged some common friends who convinced Qadri to wind up his sit-in as he was no more getting support from the establishment. The common friends, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar is one of them, managed to persuade Qadri to find new friends in the Sharifs camp and ditch the Chaudhrys of Gujrat and Imran Khan.

“Qadri, who was disturbed for finding no way out of sit-in after failure to topple the Sharifs’ government, had been desperately looking for ‘honourable exit’. And the lucrative offer the PML-N guys made to him was irresistible for Mr Qadri.”

The official sources having knowledge of the ‘Sharifs-Qadri deal’ said: “Qadri was offered Rs 3 billion to end his sit-in. The amount also includes the blood money for the victims of 14 PAT workers killed in Model Town.”

According to the deal, apart from taking huge money (Rs3 billion) Qadri will sever his relations with Chaudhry Shujaat, Pervaiz Elahi and Imran Khan. He will no demand resignations from the Sharif brothers but continue targeting them.
On the other hand, the PML-N government would not lay hand on Qadri despite he is wanted in murder case of a policeman in Gujranwala and treason and vandalism case in Islamabad.

The government would also facilitate him in his political activities in the country
and also provide funding to his Mihajul Quran. So Qadri has found new love at the camp of Sharifs. And Chaudhrys and Khan will be remembered his “good old friends”. – Pak Destiny
