Is ECP hand in glove with the establishment in getting desired May 11 polls results?

Islamabad, May 25 (www.pakdestiny.com) The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will never go for verification of voters thumb impression as it knows it will expose the establishment’s handy work on 25 to 30 seats.
Though PTI chairman Imran Khan and his supporters have been demanding to carry out verification of voters thumb impression on four National Assembly seats the ECP is showing persistent reluctance. “It is doing so as it seems to be hand in glove with the establishment to have the desired results,” a political analyst told Pak Destiny.
He said the ECP had been using delaying tactics on the instruction of the establishment.
Interestingly ECP secretary Ishtiaq Ahmed who instead of taking measures to verify voters thumb impression has started threatening those who are raising voice against rigging. Is not it a sham for the ECP?
“If criticism on ECP does not stop we will use powers of contempt of court,” Ahmed told reporters. The ECP secretary may get a medal for the ECP’s role in helping the establishment in getting the desired results in May 11 polls. – Pak Destiny
