After Nawaz, Hamza Shahbaz also facing disqualification for being ‘dishonest’

By Iram Salim

(Pak Destiny) Ayesha Ahad Malik today announced moving the court against Hamza, son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, requesting it to try him under Articles 62 and 63 of Constitution for concealing his marriage with her thus he is no more ‘honest’.

It appears that after disqualification of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for not being ‘Sadiq and Amin’ under Articles 62 and 63, Hamza may be going to meet the same fate if he is tried for the same clauses on the petition of Ms Malik. Hamza’s father is already in the dock as he is facing corruption charges in Hudabiya Papers Mills and Model Town carnage which are big hurdle in his becoming the prime minister. Similarly, Hamza’s way to the throne of chief minister Ms Malik is a big hurdle.

“Hamza contracted marriage with me in 2008. I have proof of it and will present before the court and get him disqualified. Inflicting torture on me shows clearly the ‘guilt’ of Hamza.

“I am quite confident that I will get Hamza disqualified being not Sadiq and Amin (dishonest). He concealed his marriage with me and when I broke the news of our marriage in media he got me tortured from police,” Ayesha Ahad Malik told Pak Destiny. She said she is going to file a petition in the Lahore High Court in this regard.

“I can still recall those horrific moments of torture inflicted on me and my daughter  on the order of the chief minister secretariat,” she said added that she  is receiving threats from the Punjab government for not withdrawing the claim that she has a “matrimonial relation” with a scion of the Sharif family.

Ms Malik, daughter of the late politician Ahad Malik, said the PML-N people, including a former prosecution secretary, a senior official of the Punjab government and a journalist of Jang group, were on forefront in ensuring that “I must withdraw my claim or face torture’. “Since the Sharifs are good at using the police to silence their opponents they did the same to me,” she said.

Hamza however denied his marriage with Ayesha. She says she has not yet stopped perusing the course of justice… which one day I will get.  Pak Destiny
