FIA Lahore honors SHO Banking Circle Irfan Khan with “Best Officer Award” for outstanding performance

In a prestigious ceremony held at the Lahore Zone headquarters,  Federal Investigation Agency.(FIA) Lahore Zone Capt (R) Ali Zia awarded the “Best Officer Award” to Irfan Khan, SHO of the FIA Banking Circle Lahore in recognition of his outstanding professional performance, remarkable investigative skills, and dedication to duty.

The award was presented during a special meeting attended by senior FIA officers, investigation teams, and officials from various wings of the Lahore Zone.

The director appreciated the officer’s exceptional efforts in combating white-collar crime, financial fraud, cyber-enabled banking scams, illegal transactions, and organized financial networks operating within the jurisdiction of Lahore Zone.

According to FIA officials, Irfan Khan demonstrated extraordinary commitment in handling sensitive and high-profile cases related to banking fraud, digital financial crimes, and public complaints.

Under Mr Khan’s  supervision, several successful operations were conducted against individuals and groups involved in online fraud, illegal money transfers, identity theft, and financial embezzlement. His timely actions reportedly helped recover significant amounts of money and provided relief to victims of financial crimes.

The Director FIA Lahore said that officers who perform their duties with honesty, professionalism, and courage are the real strength of the institution. He added that the FIA remains committed to ensuring accountability, transparency, and strict action against financial criminals and fraudsters exploiting citizens through modern technological means.

During the ceremony, senior officials praised the SHO Banking Circle Lahore, Irfan Khan, for maintaining a high standard of investigation, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening coordination with banks and financial institutions. His efforts were also acknowledged for enhancing public trust in law enforcement institutions.

The awarded officer thanked the FIA leadership for recognizing his performance and dedicated the achievement to his team, saying that collective efforts, teamwork, and public cooperation are essential in fighting financial and cybercrime.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a commendation certificate and appreciation shield, while FIA officials reaffirmed their resolve to continue operations against corruption, cybercrime, banking fraud, and other organized criminal activities across the Lahore Zone.
