Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Raja Rifat Mukhtar visited the FIA Lahore Zone.
DG FIA Rifat Mukhtar reviewed the ongoing administrative and investigative operations.
During the visit, Director Lahore Zone, Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Zia, gave the DG a detailed briefing on the overall performance of the department, pending matters, and ongoing actions.
The DG FIA expressed satisfaction with the performance of all departments and issued directions for further improvement and enhanced transparency.

He instructed that all pending inquiries and cases must be disposed of immediately and strictly on merit to ensure timely redressal of public complaints.
The DG FIA made it clear that delays, negligence, or any form of special leniency in high-profile cases would not be tolerated, and such cases must be concluded on a priority basis.
He also ordered strict action and an effective crackdown against organised groups involved in financial crimes, immigration fraud, and counterfeit medicineseffective crackdown against organised groups involved in financial crimes, immigration fraud, and counterfeit medicines.
The DG further directed that new reform initiatives and modern administrative measures be introduced to improve the organisation’s reputation and enhance operational efficiency.
On the occasion, outstanding investigation officers were also awarded certificates of appreciation and cash rewards for their exemplary performance.
