Pakistan former test cricketer Shahid Afridi was trolled on social media for his pictures with a Pro-Israel group.
Afridi cut a further sorry figure when a group of Zionists alleged that he came up to them for picture in Manchester.
Soon after Friends of Israel (FOI) — a grassroots organisation that advocates for Israel — posted a picture with the Pakistani cricketer, saying Afridi “stopped to offer his support for our call to release the hostages”.
Pakistani international cricketer @SAfridiOfficial stopped to offer his support for our call to release the hostages at our NWFOI vigil last Sunday in Manchester.

I don’t even understand what’s going on with Shahid Afridi anymore. Why can’t he publicly come out against the genocide of Palestinians? pic.twitter.com/gQezNkK7C7

S.Afridi is illiterate. A video clip shows he did not know what LBW stands for. He knew L stands for Leg and B for Before but had no idea what the W stood for.

And he wanted to captain Pak. Well, why not? Like his team is also functionally illiterate.
Commenting on Imran Riaz Khan—who is mashAllah doing well—is another one of Afridi’s myopic and idiotic gimmicks

The genius Shahid Afridi’s callous statement is an indication of his zero awareness of PTSD and nervous breakdowns after being locked up for months in kennel sized… https://t.co/3hPvtrq4wG
In the picture with Zionists posted on X Afridi is seen standing with two men in Manchester, one of whom was holding a flyer about Israeli babies allegedly kidnapped by Hamas. The flyer clearly bears the words #BringThemHome, which is a call for the release of the hostages taken on by Hamas on October 7 and they also thanked Afridi for his support.
Caught in an embarrassing situation Afridi tried to clarify: “Imagine strolling down a street in Manchester (UK) and so-called fans approach you for a selfie. You oblige, and moments later, they upload it as some form of Zionist endorsement,” he wrote on X account on Thursday.
He further said: “Seeing innocent lives in Palestine suffer is truly heartbreaking. Thus, any photo or association shared by in Manchester does not reflect my support for any situation where human lives are at stake.” He also prayed for peace, freedom and an end to this war.
Author Fatima Bhutto said Afridi had no idea who they were. “I guess they [the FOI] were keen to look like there were more than five people at their event,” she said.
The Zionists (FOI) responded to Afridi’s tweet and claimed he took a picture with his own camera with their hostage placards and agreed to pose with the group for a selfie with their leaflets.
“You spoke to us of your own free will and posed for a selfie with hostage leaflets to support our cause. It’s hugely disappointing you have caved into those who would oppose the release of innocent babies, children, women and men held hostage by Hamas,” the organisation wrote. What a shame for Afridi if they are speaking truth.
Afridi earlier was in news for promoting his son in law Shaheen Afridi. Most of the times he has been in news for wrong reasons. PAK DESTINY
