Islamabad (Pak Destiny) Two new News Channels have miserably failed at their inception thus forcing their administration to think about turning them into entertainment ones.
A-Lite of Chaudhry Attaur Rehman and Channel 24 of Mohsin Naqvi have failed to make any impact since their launch a few months ago.
Current affair TV – Channel 24 – which has been on test transmission since its on cable for the last couple of months failed primarily of its discarded anchors Naqvi picked from the media industry.
Mohsin Naqvi who launched this venture with partner businessman Gohar Ejaz is upset over its failure and seriously considering turning it into an entertainment one.
A-Lite on the other hand failed like its newspaper – Nai Baat. Now Mr Rehman too is discussing with his team to make it an entertainment one.
Both channels are hardly getting an ad because of their zero rating. – Pak Destiny
I can’t say any thing about A-Lite channel. But you don’t know Mohsin Naqvi. His project never fails. He has a vision about Channel 24. He will take his channel on height of success. When he launched C42 many people said a lot and C42 faced difficulties in its beginning. But after a couple of months C42 became one of the most viewed channel.
