In a series of flirtatious tweets directed at him from admiring fans, Adele’s bodyguard has become the source of many ‘hellos’.
It started after fashion blogger Bryanboy pointed out that he was quite good looking. @bryanboy tweeted: ‘Hello adele’s bodyguard, it’s me.’
The reaction to the bodyguard is reminiscent of the attention that convicted felon Jeremy Meeks’ sparked after Stockton police released his mugshot on Facebook last year and hoards of adoring women turned the air blue with their comments on his good looks.
However, it’s certainly not the first time that Van der Veen has been in the spotlight. He used to be Lady Gaga’s bodyguard and has also worked with Iggy Azalea.
