‘Princess’ singer Annie Khalid had her grand wedding reception in Lahore yesterday, looking radiant in a traditional red and orange ensemble with golden embroidery.

Annie’s claim to fame was back in 2006, when she released her first album titled Princess. Come on, who doesn’t remember her tracks ‘Mahiya’ and ‘Princess’ blasting on the radios back in the day?
At the time, Bollywood film producer Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt expressed desire to use Mahiya as part of the OST for their movie Awarapan. More fame and fortune followed for Khalid until she disappeared from the music scene for a while. Rumour has it, she’s planning a career comeback.
The former singer has been linked with UK based businessman Saad Ahmed Khan for a couple of years now; the pair had gotten their nikkah done reportedly nearly a year ago.
We guess she felt the need to have another big hurrah for her rukhsati!
