Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central President and former Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that after Quaid-e-Azam, no leader as popular as Imran Khan.
“After Quaid-e-Azam, if anyone has received the most votes, it is Imran Khan. Whenever the nation and the army needed it, Imran Khan and I were the first to give a statement that we stand with our army. Our army achieved victory by sacrificing the lives of its martyrs, the entire nation pays tribute to the Pakistan Army,” Mr Elahi said on Monday in Gujrat.

Parvez Elahi said that the PML-N members are not fooling the people but themselves. “Now the people have become awake and conscious. The PML-N members say that the war was designed by Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz says that JF Thunder was made by Mian Sahib. Thankfully, the PML-N did not say that Nawaz Sharif had also seen the dream of Allama Iqbal, however the fact is that not a single word against Modi came out of his mouth during the entire war,” the former CM said.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi further said that former prime minister Imran Khan is in jail for Pakistan and this nation. “Khan is the most popular leader. We are all together for this nation and country. The institutions will also be with what is best for this nation, because everything has been tried individually but nothing has worked,” Elahi said.
Earlier, in a conversation with the media after offering Eid-ul-Adha prayers in Gujrat, Ch Parvez Elahi said that all major countries should take notice of Israel’s oppression and atrocities on Palestinian Muslims. Israeli terrorists are bombing the small children. The entire Muslim community should courageously confront Israeli terrorism. I pray that Allah Almighty may help Palestinian and Kashmiri Muslims.
Mr Elahi said that we pay tribute to the Pakistani armed forces for the courage with which they fought the war with India. The whole world is recognizing that the Pakistani Air Force has proven its combat superiority over India. As far as India is concerned, all political parties and institutions, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, are on the same page despite all political differences. The Pakistani Air Force, with its combat skills and valor, revived the memories of September 1965.
The PTI president said that Narendra Modi is becoming a threat to the peace and tranquility of South Asia. “Narendra Modi’s extremist thinking and war madness can turn the subcontinent into a pile of ashes. The United Nations should take note of Narendra Modi’s irresponsible statements and actions. Narendra Modi should stop dreaming of conquering Pakistan. India can embark on a new adventure to end the impression of its defeat,” he said as added that a quick and just solution to the Kashmir issue has become essential for sustainable world peace.
” If US President Trump can resolve the Kashmir issue, he should do so because until the Kashmir issue is resolved, the war atmosphere between Pakistan and India will not end,” he said.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that Pakistan’s agriculture and prosperity are linked to the Indus Waters Treaty. Suspending the Indus Waters Treaty is a conspiracy to destroy Pakistan agriculturally. Until the Indus Waters Treaty is restored, it cannot be said that the war is over. PAK DESTINY
