(Pak Destiny) While Mian Amer Mahmood is goining to launch a city channel in Lahore, Mohsin Naqvi is repeating his venture of C42 in the UK with its international phone code – C44.
According to BizAsiaLive.com, Channel 44, the UK’s first Pakistani news channel is due to be launched this month. It says the new channel will replace the Muslim Ummah TV on Sky Digital network.
As a lot of money was required for London-based project, some local investors have reportedly pumped in money along with Naqvi. The channel will be covering news for all UK Asian communities. All programs will be shot in HD but broadcast in SD.
The other leading channels like Geo and ARY may also follow the suit. Meanwhile, Dunya group is planning to launch a city channel for Lahorites. Pak Destiny
