Lahore (Pakdestiny) Banned ARY anchor Mubashir Lucman has finally tendered unconditional apology to Lahore High Court for doing a defamatory program on Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi.
Finding no way out Lucman apologized from the judge in order to expose the PML-N government’s corruption in his programs.
The judge accepted his apology and allowed him to do his talk show – Khara Sach – till the next hearing on Nov 28.
But sword is still hanging on his head as he and his boss Salman Iqbal, owner of ARY media group, have been indicted by the Supreme Court for accusing SC judge Jawad S Khawaja’s wife of taking monetary benefits from the Punjab government in a land transaction.
Mubashir and Salman will have to seek unconditional apology from the SC in this case too if they want to save their neck. However it will be interesting to see whether Lucman’s opponents try to make this relief ‘temporary’. — Pakdestiny
