(Pakdestiny.com) The meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is apparently on ‘medical check-up’ in London, and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has been finalised.
Both leaders are likely to meet any time this week. The impression created by PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan that Zardari may not meet Nawaz is wrong. “Zardari is too keen to see Nawaz. In return to support Nawaz on Panama Leaks, Zardari may ask him to give concession to Dr Asim,” a source privy to the development told Pakdestiny.
According to the premier’s spokesperson, Nawaz will undergo a detailed medical check-up which owing to his national engagements was postponed repeatedly. He denied his meeting with Zardari. “Zardari may see Nawaz on the pretext of inquiring after his health,” the source said.
PM Sharif is suggested to spend a week in London to relieve his ‘stress and anxiety’ because of the situation developed after Panama leaks.
It is learnt the PML-N big wigs are not happy of his decision to address the nation on the issue of Panama Papers. It was, however, suggested by daughter Maryam Nawaz to clear his position in public.
