Islamabad (Pak Destiny) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has smartly given “clean chit” to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for their criminal negligence in the fuel crisis.
Instead of sacking both ministers the prime minister preferred to send some bureaucrats home but the people cannot be fooled by his action.
The 90-million people of Punjab have been suffering for the last one week owing to acute shortage of petrol but the PML-N has not yet fixed the responsibility.
Like the ISI-Geo episode in this case too PM Sharif is reluctant in taking the failed ministers to the task. In that episode PM had refused to take action against ministers Khawaja Asif and Pervaiz Rashid for fueling the row between the ISI and Geo and in this case too the PM is reluctant to show Dar and Abbasi door.
The Sharifs have shown that how much public pressure they have they do not touch their blue-eyed men, be they are ministers or bureaucrats. – Pak Destiny
