PML-Q pledges to secure justice for Model Town victims, joining decisive protest from Jan 17

     (PakDestiny)  The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid is going to make “Tehreek-i-Qisas” movement decisive to secure justice for the victims of 14 supporters of Dr Tahirul Qadri who were brutally killed by Punjab police in June 2014.

         For the purpose, union councils representatives, workers and leader under Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi are gathering at the Muslim League House Lahore on Jan 17 from where they will join the Pakistan Awami Tehreek and hold a sit-in on the Mall Road as part of the campaign to seek justice for Model Town victims.
PML-Q parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Moonis Elahi presided over a meeting of the party assembly members, ticket holders and district office-bearers in this regard at the Muslim League House here and finalised the arrangements in this regard. Senator Kamil Ali Agha, PML-Q General Secretary Punjab Ch Zaheeruddin, Aamir Sultan Cheema, MPA Khadeeja Omar, Chaudhry Zulfiqar, and Khawaja Waqarul Hassan also present in the meeting.
Moonis Elahi directed all UC representatives and party workers to reach Muslim League House on Wednesday morning and join the PAT protest in rally. “PML workers and leaders willfully participate in Tehrik-e-Qisas for ensuring justice to Model Town tragedy victims,” Moonis said, and chided the Shahbaz Sharif government for allowing the Punjab police to brutally kill the innocent people in Model Town on the pretext of removing encroachments. “We will not rest till the victims of Model Town tragedy get justice,” Moonis made the pledge. – Pak Destiny
