Salman Khan’s latest movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo might have failed to get the nod from critics, however, the movie is raging at the box office.
It was trade analyst Taran Adarsh who broke down the figures in his tweet and explained to all how the film was doing in the overseas market as well as the domestic Indian box office:-

The success of the movie can be attributed to the fact that Salman Khan’s last film before Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which had smashed records and earned rave reviews for its message and strong plot. The film’s impact was so huge that it even helped the case of Geeta, whose real life account was quite similar to Harshali Malhotra’s character Munni from the movie.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a family entertainer, in which Salman Khan essays a double role. In the movie Salman plays the role of an affluent prince and a humble simpleton, who makes peace between people. The film has an impressive cast to its name such as Salman Khan himself, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar and Armaan Kohli.
