PTV is bleeding under its self-appointed MD Ataul Haq Qasmi – a PML-N tout – its current loss crosses Rs2.7bn

(Pak Destiny) The self-appointed Managing Director of Pakistan Television (PTV) and ‘known-tout’ of the PML-N Attaul Haq Qasmi’s organization has incurred billions of rupees loss.

“The PTV is incurring a loss of Rs2.72 billion and earns far more from charging public in utility bills than from advertisements it runs cumulatively on its eight channels,” Express Tribune reported.

PTV Chairman Qasmi has recently called a meeting of the board of directors and passed a resolution appointing himself the managing director of the state-run television. Under him ‘loot mar bazaar is garam’.

This tout has only one agenda – promote PML-N and curse opposition. He has completely turned the national TV a personal property of the PML-N and also causing huge loss to the exchequer… will the Supreme Court take notice of it since its people’s tax money the PTV running its business.

As it is running short of finances Qasmi told the PTV staff that salaries could be delayed because of the deficit.

Since the PML-N government came to power PTV’s matters have worsened and blame could squared both on former PML-N tout anchor Muhammad Maalik and the incumbent Qasmi.  – Pak Destiny
