Islamabad, July 2 (Pak Destiny) As BOL News channel is all set to be launched on August 14, the mainstream anchors have signed a joining contract with its management on lucrative terms and conditions.
Sources in media industry told Pak Destiny that BOL is ready to take the place of Geo News and most of Geo faces will now be seen on BOL TV. Najam Sethi along with his trained child Muneeb, Kamran Khan are among the good number of Geo employees in the Team BOL. Dunya, Express and ARY will lose one anchor each – Kamran Shahid, Shahzeb Khanzada and Kashif Abbasi – respectively. Mr Abbasi has tried hard to take her wife Mehr along as she has been dumped at Dawn News but the BOL management did not agree.
The sources said Mubashir Lucman has also been contacted by the BOL management but he has been insisting that he would only join provided Najam Sethi is not on the same boat. The Team BOL has been trying hard to meet the deadline Aug 14 as it still has to hire professionals in different areas like production, reporting, news anchoring and launch a complete set up in Islamabad and Lahore. – Pak Destiny
