Will Army Chief Gen Asim Munir accept the invitation of former prime minister Imran Khan to meet him for the betterment of the country?
On Friday Imran Khan said: “I am ready talk to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir for the betterment of the country as I have no quarrel with the military establishment. I am willing to speak to the establishment even now for the betterment of the country — but if no one is willing to talk, what can I do.”
Mr Khan also questioned as why Gen Munir considers him his enemy. “it seems the incumbent army chief is considering me his enemy,” Khan said and challenged Gen Asim Munir to prove any corruption case against him and his wife Bushra Bibi.
The army chief should speak to Mr Khan for the sake of the country. Let by gone be bygone and begin a new start.
The PDM especially Nawaz and Zardari would not like seeing the army chief speaking to Khan but he must rise above the occasion.
Khan’s all praise for Parvez and Moonis
Imran Khan was all praise for former chief minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and Moonis Elahi for their braving all pressure of the establishment but chose not to ditch him.
“The establishment tried its best to make Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi leave my side. But the Elahi family faced all the pressure and hardship but didn’t leave me,” Mr Khan said and added “now we will have to show Mr Elahi our loyalty.” PAK DESTINY
