BNU students not bothered about criticism over menstruation pads saga

The Beaconhouse National University (BNU) students have dismissed criticism against them for displaying sanitary pads at varsity.

“We just want to create awareness about menstruation,” a BNU student

The students displayed menstruation pads on the campus to discourage stigma attached to it.
After their action people from different walks of life including journalists like Ansar Abbasi who demanded sacking of its principal and action against the students involved in it.

The students displayed menstruation pads on the wall and painted stains on their ‘kameez’ to discourage stigma attached to it.

But the students say they haven’t committed any crime. “We just want to create awareness about menstruation,” a BNU student told Pakddstiny.com.

She said the displaying of pads should not be seen as liberalism. “We don’t care about this,” she said.
However calls are being made across society to take action against the varsity administration otherwise this trend will pick up. Pak Destiny
