As by-poll exercise after 2024 general elections is taking place on April 21 (Sunday), eyes on a few important constituencies from where PTI President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi are contesting.
Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi are contesting on PP 32 Gujrat and PP 158 Lahore, respectively.
Like in Feb 8 polls, the powers that be changed the results of most seats in Punjab through form 47, repeat of same episode is expected on April 20… what a shame for Pakistan democracy.
Parvez’s wife Qaisra Elahi had won with a margin of 110,000 votes on a NA seats in Gujrat against Salik Husain and Parvez Elahi had defeated Shafay Hussain with 50,000 votes on a PA seats but both losers were declared successful by the ECP and later the Shahbaz and Maryam governments made both losing brothers — Shafay and Salik — ministers. Even shame has a shame in such an episode.
By-elections will be held for five vacant seats of the National Assembly; 12 of the Punjab Assembly, two each of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan legislatures as well as one of the Sindh Assembly.
In addition, re-polling in all constituencies of PB-50 (Killa Abdullah) will also take place on the same day. The general elections for NA-8, Bajaur, and PK-22, Bajaur, were postponed because of the murder of a candidate, Rehan Zeb Khan.
So the repeat of Feb 8 methods are likely in April 20 by elections. And winners will be made losers. PAK DESTINY
