Debate generated by Moonis Elahi on salt-export ban to India gains momentum on social media

Debate on imposing ban on export of salt to India generated by PML-Q senior leader and MNA Moonis Elahi on social media has gained momentum as thousands are joining his voice to press the PTI coalition government to take this step in solidarity with Kashmiri people.

Although the party of Mr Moonis is in the government and he raised this issue in the Parliament but the government usually acts when the pressure of masses built on it regarding any issue.

India sells Pakistani salt on higher price at international market

In its earlier tweet Mr Moonis said: “India is selling our salt on much higher price after importing from Pakistan on cheap rates. Time has come to stop the export of salt to this Namak Haram to express solidarity with Kashmiris.”

Following his demand that gone viral attracting thousands of Pakistanis joining his voice.

Moonis Elahi has also launched Kalabagh Dam campaign. Since water scarcity is going to be the main issue of Pakistan

More strict steps against India demanded

Blogger Sarvat Hossein said:”We all should join hands in such demands that hurt India so that it is forced to stop atrocities in occupied Kashmir and solve the issue sitting with Kashmiris and Pakistanis.”

Journaliat Saima Chaudhry said that Moonis Elahi should lead this campaign from the front and push the government to ban export of salt to India.

Time to even go for airspace ban for India till it lifts curfew in occupied Kashmir

She said Prime Minister Imran Khan should also go for more steps against India to force Modi lift curfew in occupied Kashmir.
