(Pakdestiny.com) Finally Absar Alam who was pitched by Mir Shakilur Rehman and Pervaiz Rashid has got the top slot of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulator Authority.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has to oblige his media supporter Geo/Jang group owner Mir Shakilur Rehman (MSR) and his kitchen cabinet member Pervaiz Rashid by appointing their ‘tout’ Absar as PEMRA chief.
“Absar has been appointed PEMRA chief to protect the interest of MSR or Geo group. Besides, he will also well serve his master Pervaiz Rashid in other matters,” says a source in PEMRA while talking to Pak Destiny.
“It’s a big shame that PML-N government is appointing its tout journalists in organisations like PTV and PEMRA. In the presence of Muhammad Malick and Absar Alam how the PTV and PEMRA can have some independent policy,” he said.
On the other hand, will journalist Ansar Abbasi who has good relations with Absar Alam ask him to take strict action against TV channels for running obscene content.
“Absar will fully protect his old and new masters’ interest and he will be booted out the day he does not oblige any of them. Pak Destiny
