Islamabad, News Desk (www.pakdestiny.com) Supreme Court Chief Justice today gave equal rights to trans-genders of Pakistan but who will protect the rights of ordinary ‘regular’ citizens in the face of over 2million pending cases in the courts.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case pertaining to the rights of the trans-genders.
The apex court ruled that the transgenders also have the right over family inheritance.
Moreover, the court declared that no one could deprive them from their right to their inheritance.
The apex court ordered that equal rights should be given to the eunuchs in all the fields of life including education and employment in a dignified manner.
Some two million or so regular people ask the CJ will he also ensure protection of their rights like that of Almas Boby to get their cases disposed of. (www.pakdestiny.com)
