Lahore (Pak Destiny) Inspector General Police Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera is likely not to execute the order of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to “crush Dr Tahirul Qadri and his followers” during the revolution march.
Highly placed sources in police told Pak Destiny that Mr Sukhera had suggested the Punjab government not to use force to quell Qadri’s protest as it may result in many casualties.
The PML-N bigwigs however did not pay heed to his suggestion. The sources said Mr Sukhera might not order his force to deal with Qadri followers with iron hand during the revolution march. “In such a scenario Shahbaz may transfer Sukhera last minute,” they said. – Pak Destiny
