Imran Khan's another big U-Turn ditches Waleed Iqbal ,humayun akhtar khanBy Iram Salim

(Pak Destiny) Another big U-Turn of Prime Minister Imran Khan after coming to power. Khan ditched party loyalist Waleed Iqbal, grandson of poet of east Allama Muhammad Iqbal despite promising of awarding NA-131 by-poll ticket. Instead he obliged business tycoon Humayun Akhtar Khan. What a shame and another meek surrender to the wealthy. NA-131 is vacated by Imran Khan.

When Imran Khan was campaigning in NA-131 for July 25 polls he promised Waleed before media that he would be his candidate in the by-poll. What a shame that he again backtracked from his words. How many times he will do this he should be ashamed of himself for obliging a former PML-N leader. Khan has shamelessly ditched his old party guards at the cost of of the wealthy.

Started his politics with PML-N, Humayun Akhtar remained federal minister during the Musharraf regime, Humayun hardly stands any chances against Saad Rafique as this constituency is the PML-N stronghold. — Pak Destiny
