The PTI suspended his party membership — what a shame.
The PTI says it has terminated the membership of musician Salman Ahmad for running a campaign against “the family of Imran Khan”.

Salman had posted on X to criticise Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi for her political activities during the November 26 protests, sparking criticism from party supporters.
“Corrupt and greedy Bushra Bibi and her family and equally corrupt friends like Malik Riaz Zulfi Bokhari, farah gogi and Gen Faiz were a constant source of embarrassment for Imran khan who did not enter politics to enrich himself. They provided the excuses through their behavior. It’s disgusting to say that he was removed because he walked barefoot in Mecca. So uneducated and so stupid,” Salman had said on November 26 protests of PTI.
Last week, Imran, during a conversation with journalists after a court convened at the Adiala jail, had lambasted the singer for hurling baseless allegations against the former first lady, terming his X posts “foolish”.
A notification issued by the PTI Central Secretariat addressing the musician said he had “consistently sought to sow division and discontent” among the party’s members and supporters through “unwarranted and scurrilous posts” on social media.
“You are aware of those posts, including the posts against the family of Imran Khan.”
“You are further asked never to show any affiliation with PTI,” it continued.
What a stupid kind of notification is this that “never show association with PTI.”
