LAHORE: Danish Kaneria has been handed a life ban by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for provoking a cricketer for match fixing during a county match.
He has been banned from playing cricket at any level.
Danish Kaneria has said that he has been treated unfairly as the PCB has shown a soft corner for Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt but not for him. He was of the view that the PCB has taken the decision in haste and has not given him proper opportunity to present his point of view on the matter.
He still maintains that there is no substantial evidence against him.
