PML-Q senior leader and Member National Assembly Chaudhry Moonis Elahi has grilled PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif for his ‘diatribe’ in the assembly against the PTI coalition government saying how come this man is using this floor for his ‘personal gains’ with little respect to the people’s problems.
Mr Moonis expressed his wonder as how this man (Shahbaz), opposition leader in NA, is only interested in using this platform to skip from Kot Lakhpat jail. “Instead of using its energies for law-making in the NA, the PML-N led by Shahbaz Sharif’s target is the government,” he said.

Moonis further said parliamentarians do not come to the assembly see Shahbaz’s bad behaviour but for resolution of the the people’s problems. Shahbaz Sharif has been attending the NA sessions since he was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Rs14bn Ashiana housing Lahore scam October last. Shahbaz should indebted to the coalition government for allowing him to come to the NA.
The PTI government has also warned Shahbaz Sharif to better focus on the business of the House instead of only cursing Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Mr Moonis has also advised Shahbaz and his party PML-N to better move the court for corruption cases it is facing and let the National
Assembly forum be used for resolution of the people’s problems. Mr Moonis vows to bring a privileged motion in this regard in the National Assembly to grill Shahbaz Sharif. Pak Destiny
