Islamabad (Pak Destiny) ARY News anchor Mubasher Lucman is in hot waters as he has been nominated as a prime accused in the FIR registered in the anti-Supreme Court judge banners case.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan yesterday told a Supreme Court that the police have prepared a transcript of four programs of Khara Saach. The IGP also presented a detailed report before the bench while contending that Lucman had insulted Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja in his programmes.
The IGP told the SC that Lucman had been nominated as a “central accused” in the case based on his anti-judiciary programmes.
In the last hearing the IGP told the court that the police had arrested a journalist, Arshad who displayed banners against Justice Khawaja. Arshad said he had no relation with the ISI and displayed banners after getting impressed from Mubashir Lucman’s `Khara Sach’ programme.
Lucman may not save his skin this time as the apex court seems to have taught a lesson to those involved indefaming Justic Khawaja in particular and judiciary in general. Pak Destiny
