It will be interesting to see how many private TV channels follow this.
The Pakistan Media Regulatory Authority has made it binding on the TV channels to seek first approval from ISPR before inviting any former military man to have a word on security issues or politics.
I think there is no point making former retired military persons political stalwarts on TV. They should not be considered jack of all trade.
How come they be good in commenting on politics since it is not their subject.

Similarly the PEMRA should also ban anchors to speak on all issues be it security, sports or fashion. An anchor can be expert only in a couple of areas but only a goof nchor can be a stupid opinion maker on every subject. Pak Destiny
This is very good and sensible decision by ISPR to ban all anchors who know nothing about defence matters until approved by military high command, similarly
Good decision
