Nisar ‘advises’ Sharif to let Musharraf go

By Raza Ruman

Islamabad, July 19 (Pak Destiny) Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has reportedly convinced Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to let Pervez Musharraf go abroad.
Official sources told Pak Destiny that Sharif had visited GHQ on the insistence of Nisar in order to normalise the PMLN’s relations with the army.
“Nisar warned Sharif not to insist on trying the former army chief, Musharraf, as it might end up in sending his government home,” the sources said.
They said Nawaz Sharif was paying heed to Nisar’s suggestion seriously this time. “He may consult his ‘spiritual leaders’ over the Musharraf issue before he finally decides.” — Pak Destiny
