The government has stopped all TV channels from broadcasting any musical show during Eid days as it may hurt the sentiments of Kashmiris.
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has also warned the channels to drop any such amusement show which they have already recorded.

The channels have also been directed to run programs in connection with Independence Day.
The government has to take this decision as some TV channels show no care for the sentiments of Kashmiris. Even such channels are still running India content which is shameful and PEMRA has shut it’s eyes. Pak Destiny
